The Primal Hunter: Deluxe Collector's Box Set

Hunters! We are only 5 days out from the launch of The Primal Hunter: Deluxe Collector's Box Set crowdfund! Thought it was time to reveal one of the many standees we will be offering: The King of the Forest! Here is some reference art we asked the artist to work off of (the book covers, obviously!)



In case you need a refresher, The King of the Forest is a treant-like creature. He stands nearly three meters tall, and more closely resembles a tree than a person. He has two thin arms and legs which both end in ivory, bone-like claws. His face is described as being like “nothing,” just a wooden mask with two dark, shining lights glowing out of two holes. It is expressionless. On top of his head is a web on entangled thorns, in a shape that resembles a crown.

The King of the Forest is one of six custom illustrated acrylic standees (the other 5 will need to be unlocked during the campaign). Collect all 6 of them during the campaign to display on your bookshelf or desk!

*The Primal Hunter Crowdfund: Tutorial Quest has been Initiated.*

In our previous update, we asked you what you wanted to see teased next. We got an overwhelming number of votes for a teaser of "A squishy, soft friend". 

By choosing this option, you have actually stumbled upon the Tutorial Quest for the campaign!

The objective? Defeat the Beast Lords in order to unlock the ultimate campaign loot (that squishy, soft friend we've been talking about...any guesses? 👀). With every goal we reach, another beast shall be defeated, and we’ll upgrade your pledges. 



You'll have to tune in when the campaign goes live in order to see what the objectives are for defeating each beast. 

We are 7 days out from launch, and already almost fully funded! Thank you all for your support, and keep an eye out for more updates!

It was close, but the poll results came in and we are proud to release a sketch from our artist on the Nest Watcher! 🐀🐀 🐀 

In case you need a refresher, the Nest Watcher is a tall, humanoid rat covered in hair that stands on two legs. It’s incredibly muscular. It wears a heavy, black helmet and armor. It wields a huge, crude black sword made of stone, which helps it wield powerful, dark mana.

We asked our artist to pose the Nest Watcher with its sword mid swing, and in an aggressive stance. Here are some images we used for the artist to reference.

Today’s spotlight is on one of the most iconic creatures from early on in The Primal Hunter series: the Great White Stag. Here's the description in the book, in case you need a refresher:

“The beast was… majestic. He honestly had no other way to describe it. It stood drinking from a pond in the middle of the plains. It had antlers that looked like they were made out of the most delicate ivory, the purest white color covering its entire body, making it appear albino.”
